Nordic Industries Holding takes over foundry in Guldsmedshyttan

Nordic Industries Holding becomes the new owner of Baettr i Guldsmedshyttan AB. The operation will be renamed Nordic Casting AB and the melting furnaces are set to heat up again.

Nordic Industries Holding is taking over the foundry and industrial area in Guldsmedshyttan. The previous owner Baettr closed the operation after the last casting in October last year.

CEO Monica Joon says the company already cuts metal scrap that is melted by an external actor. Now the melting will take place on site.

The plant will not cast the same products as before but will continue with some kind of metal melting. Monica Joon describes the takeover as something they are very happy and proud of.
