Atlus revealed Persona 6 during the Summer Game Fest 2026 showcase on June 7. The trailer showed tombstones in the rain, creepy images, and the game's logo. The title will launch on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC with no release date announced.
The debut trailer opened with shots of tombstones in the rain before showing a rapid series of unsettling images and ending with a green logo. A store page that went live afterward described a high school student leading a double life through the power of their Persona. The game centers on strange rumors, unsettling urban legends, and occult incidents that the protagonist and allies must face. It follows the series formula of daily life mixed with supernatural adventure but features a new standalone story and cast. This marks the first mainline Persona game since Persona 5 in 2016. Prior leaks had shown character art, prompting Sega to issue takedown notices. A remake of Persona 4 also received a February 2027 release date during the same event.
