Marvel Tōkon Fighting Souls details emerge ahead of August release

Arc System Works has outlined key features for its upcoming Marvel fighting game Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. The title is scheduled to launch on August 6 for PC and PS5.

The game is a 4v4 tag fighter that begins with two characters per team. Additional fighters join during matches through stage transitions or round losses, expanding health and skill options.

Five preset teams appear in the roster, including Amazing Guardians with Ms. Marvel and Spider-Man, and Unbreakable X-Men featuring Storm and Wolverine. Players can mix characters freely.

A 10-hour story mode will include playable matches between dialogue segments. A one-shot comic titled Marvel Tōkon First Strike launches alongside the game.

Three editions range from a $60 standard version to a $100 ultimate edition with DLC and cosmetics. The PC version requires a PlayStation Network account.
