Rodelyn Perez defeats Eman Bacosa Pacquiao in PBF lightweight title fight

Eman Bacosa Pacquiao’s bid for his first title ended in a majority decision loss to Rodelyn Perez.

The vacant Philippine Boxing Federation lightweight title fight took place in Muntinlupa, Metro Manila. Perez won by majority decision after eight rounds with scores of 75-75, 75-74 and 76-73.

Bacosa Pacquiao was knocked down three times, stunning the crowd. The defeat ended his eight-fight unbeaten streak and left him with a record of 8-2-1.

Bacosa Pacquiao started strongly in round one but Perez adjusted and maintained pressure throughout. Online reactions to the result were mixed.
