By 7 p.m. the total had eased to 1,190 km. Marginal Pinheiros held the longest stretch at 22.4 km, ahead of the central and express lanes of Marginal Tietê.

The south zone accounted for 377 km of affected roads. Congestion was already heavy by 4:30 p.m., when the city registered 969 km, 41% above the same time last Friday.
