Shania Twain has released the new single 'Faded Blue Jeans' featuring vocals from Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme. The track serves as the final preview of her upcoming album 'Little Miss Twain'.
The song, written solely by Twain, draws on nostalgic themes from one of her teenage relationships and incorporates rock and blues elements. Homme contributes vocals that add a raw edge to the guitar-driven track.
'Little Miss Twain' is scheduled for release on July 24 via Republic Nashville. It follows Twain's 2023 album 'Queen of Me' and has already been previewed by the singles 'Dirty Rosie' and the title track.
The collaboration comes amid a busy period for Homme. Queens of the Stone Age recently shared their first new single in three years, 'Easy Street', while Mastodon released 'Snakes For Dinner' featuring Homme ahead of their album 'Marrow Deep' due August 28.
