Queens of the Stone Age release first single in three years

Queens of the Stone Age have released “Easy Street,” their first new single since 2023. The track arrived on July 14 via Matador Records along with an official music video.

The psychedelic track features guest vocals from Nikki Lane and was produced by frontman Josh Homme and bassist Michael Shuman. It marks the band’s first studio material since the album In Times New Roman…

Homme described the song in a press statement as “kind of a funny song” that captures the imperfections of life. “We made it the way you’d make a demo,” he said. “No click track, mistakes left in.”

The band first performed the song live during their 2025 Paris Catacombs shows and later added it to regular setlists. The accompanying video, directed by Tony Wolski and Christopher Gruse, depicts Homme being chased by a group including bandmates, a Juggalo, and a mall Santa before they join a house party.

Queens of the Stone Age are currently touring Europe with System of a Down and are scheduled to open for Foo Fighters in North America starting in September.
