Worldpeace DMT releases mixtape and announces new album

Worldpeace DMT has released the mixtape Flower Power. The London duo also announced their upcoming album Stick Around for Tea.

Worldpeace DMT released the mixtape Flower Power on July 24. It features the recent single “Lonesome” and a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Big Yellow Taxi.” The release coincides with the announcement of the band’s new album Stick Around for Tea, which is scheduled for October.

The project serves as the formal follow-up to The Velvet Underground & Rowan. Members Leo Fincham and Rowan Please form the duo.

The band will also undertake a rescheduled mini-tour of North America in October. Stops include two nights each in New York at Baby’s All Right and Los Angeles at Scribble and Oblivion, ending at Schubas in Chicago.
