Smashing Pumpkins announce rats in a cage tour

Smashing Pumpkins have announced a North American arena tour to mark the 30th anniversary of their 1995 album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. The Rats in a Cage Tour will feature two sets per show, with the first devoted to the double LP in a theatrical presentation.

The tour begins on Sept. 30 in Columbus, Ohio, at the Schottenstein Center and concludes on Nov. 12 in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum. Each concert will include Mellon Collie songs followed by selections from the band's broader catalog, allowing for variation across dates. Ticket pre-sale starts May 19, with general on-sale beginning May 21.
