Gorillaz House of Kong exhibition set for New York run

Gorillaz have announced that their immersive House of Kong exhibition will open in New York for a limited run in September. The show first launched in London last year as part of the band's 25th anniversary celebrations.

The exhibition will take place at the Agger Fish Building in Brooklyn Navy Yard. It opens on September 1 and runs until September 28.

Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on June 30, with prices starting from $50. Fans who purchased a Kong Card by June 25 receive presale access starting at 10am on June 29.

The New York dates follow the original London run at the Copper Box Arena. The exhibition invites fans to explore 25 years of Gorillaz history, artwork, music, characters and mythology.

Gorillaz will perform at Madison Square Garden on September 29 as part of The Mountain tour, the day after the exhibition closes.
