Soarin’ Across America, a new version of the Soarin’ ride, has opened at Disney California Adventure Park. The attraction celebrates the 250th anniversary of the United States with updated scenes from across the country.
Disney Parks announced on July 2 that Soarin’ Across America is now boarding at the park in Anaheim. The ride takes guests over iconic U.S. landscapes and cityscapes on both coasts, including New York Harbor, the New England coastline, the Grand Canyon, Mount Rushmore, and the Hollywood Sign.
The pre-show includes new jokes from Captain Patrick Warburton, while the queue features patriotic bunting for the Fourth of July and America’s 250th birthday. Immersive scents from locations such as the Louisiana Bayou, the Great Plains, and the Hawaiian Islands are part of the experience.
The updated ride is available for a limited time following a media preview attended by Disney Food Blog writers.
