South Korea's national football team completed specialized training in Mexico to adapt to high altitude and heat ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The team led by head coach Hong Myung-bo held a pre-tournament camp near Salt Lake City, Utah, from May 18 for about two weeks. The elevation there is about 1,460 meters, similar to Guadalajara at 1,571 meters where the first two group stage matches will take place.
