Ssstein shows Spring 2027 menswear in Paris

Ssstein presented its Spring 2027 menswear collection during a Sunday morning show in Paris. Designer Kiichiro Asakawa drew inspiration from quiet early mornings and family routines.

The presentation marked Ssstein’s second official appearance on the Paris schedule. Asakawa said he felt excited but very nervous backstage.

He described the mood as one of comfort in clear, unburdened mornings. The designer recalled walks in Tokyo, dropping his children at kindergarten, and a recent camping trip to Lake Yamanaka where cool early hours stood out.

The collection featured layered summer pieces including suede and corduroy jackets over shirts and ties. Looks incorporated bright knits under blazers alongside a palette with butter yellow, cyan, and toffee tones.
