Three Pittsburgh Steelers wide receivers are staying after regular practice sessions to catch extra passes and increase their chances of making the team. Roman Wilson, Max Hurleman and Brandon Johnson have been among the last players off the field. The routine was highlighted in comments to reporters on Thursday.
Wilson spoke about the extra work during media sessions. He said he tries to be one of the last three players on the field and that Hurleman and Johnson join him regularly. The group focuses on the JUGS machine for additional catches after sessions end.
