Straum unveils Frozen Metal Titanium watch with reverse-fumé dial

Straum has introduced the Frozen Metal Titanium, a new version of its Jan Mayen model featuring a distinctive reverse-fumé frost dial. The watch uses a Grade 5 titanium case and bracelet. Preorders are open with delivery scheduled for December 2026.

The dial starts with a stamped brass base and receives a galvanic frosting treatment that creates a white perimeter fading to bright silver at the center. Straum describes the effect as a literal interpretation of frost spreading across metal.

The 38.7mm case measures 11.5mm thick with the double-domed sapphire crystal and offers 10 ATM water resistance. It houses the automatic La Joux-Perret G101 movement with 68 hours of power reserve.

The titanium bracelet version is priced at €2,260 while rubber strap options cost €2,000. The design includes Frostbite Blue PVD indexes and hands along with Swiss Super-LumiNova.
