The partnership highlights the band's rising profile in the Americana and country scenes.

Signing Details

Country-rock band 49 Winchester, known for its blend of Southern rock and country influences, has joined MCA's Lucille Records. The deal was announced on November 5, 2025, with the band entering the studio alongside Grammy-winning producer and MCA chief creative officer Dave Cobb. This collaboration follows Cobb and Mike Harris taking over UMG Nashville, which rebranded as MCA in February 2025.

The upcoming album, set for release in 2026, will be a joint effort between MCA and New West Records, with all future 49 Winchester releases handled exclusively by MCA. The band's lineup includes Bus Shelton, Noah Patrick, Isaac Gibson, Justin Louthian, Tim Hall, and Chase Chafin. Originating from Virginia, they gained recognition with songs like 'Russell County Line' and 'Everlasting Lover,' and earned a 2023 nomination for duo/group of the year at the Americana Honors & Awards.
