Alex Warren's ballad Ordinary has reached 107 combined weeks at No. 1 across Billboard airplay charts. The total surpasses the previous mark held by Miley Cyrus' Flowers.
The song leads Adult Contemporary for 34 weeks, Adult Pop Airplay for a record 30 weeks, Radio Songs for 27 weeks and Pop Airplay for 16 weeks. It is the only track to spend six months or longer at No. 1 on three separate airplay lists.
Warren told Billboard in 2025 that he aimed for broad appeal when writing the track. He described Ordinary as an exciting storytelling record about love.
Flowers by Miley Cyrus finished with 106 weeks across its charts. The two songs are the only ones to exceed 100 combined weeks at No. 1 on Billboard airplay surveys.
Billboard tracks 25 radio airplay charts using data from Mediabase and Luminate. Radio continues to provide major exposure despite streaming competition.
