O técnico Carlo Ancelotti avaliou o crescimento da seleção brasileira na Copa do Mundo 2026 durante entrevista concedida na véspera do confronto contra a Noruega pelas oitavas de final.

Ancelotti concedeu a entrevista no sábado (4) no MetLife Stadium, em East Rutherford. Ele destacou a evolução da equipe após o empate inicial por 1 a 1 contra Marrocos.

"Acho que melhoramos na qualidade com a bola, especialmente comparando com o primeiro jogo", afirmou o treinador. Ele atribuiu notas crescentes: 5 contra Marrocos, 6,5 contra o Haiti, 7 contra a Escócia e 7,5 contra o Japão.

Com Lucas Paquetá lesionado, Ancelotti indicou que Martinelli ou Danilo Santos podem assumir a vaga. Raphinha, recuperado de lesão na coxa, estará no banco contra os noruegueses.
