The mother of the late Angus Cloud expressed appreciation for the way the 'Euphoria' series finale paid tribute to her son. Lisa Cloud described the conclusion as a fitting honor after watching the full third season.
Lisa Cloud said the public response on social media captured her son's spirit. She noted that the finale included a dreamlike scene of Rue crossing over, using unreleased archival footage of Angus from season one. Show creator Sam Levinson rewrote parts of the final season following Angus Cloud's death. Lisa Cloud said she fully trusted Levinson and his wife Ashley Lent Levinson with the tribute. Angus Cloud, who played Fezco, died of an overdose in July 2023. His mother learned about the use of his footage at the same time as other viewers.
