A large fire broke out in a barn in Vretstorp in Hallsberg municipality on Friday evening. At least two people have been taken to hospital by ambulance. The fire spread to several buildings and affected traffic on the E20.
The alarm about the fire came at 19:10 on Friday. A barn burned down completely and the fire spread to surrounding buildings and terrain. Rescue services from three stations are still working on extinguishing it.
Three people have been taken to hospital according to Aftonbladet while other media report at least two. The condition of those affected is unclear. No people or animals remained in the burning building.
Police have been alerted for traffic safety work on the E20 due to smoke that affected visibility. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
