Bill Zonnon scores in each of first three games for WBS Penguins

Nineteen-year-old forward Bill Zonnon has made an immediate impact since joining the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins for their Calder Cup playoff run. The Pittsburgh Penguins prospect scored in each of the first three games of the Atlantic Division Final against Springfield.

Zonnon, selected 22nd overall by Pittsburgh in the 2025 NHL Draft, made his professional debut on May 12. He opened the scoring in a 2-0 win in Game 1, added another goal in a 4-3 overtime loss in Game 2, and scored again in a 2-1 victory in Game 3. Penguins President of Hockey Operations Kyle Dubas said before the series, “it’s obviously exciting Bill will get that chance, starting tonight.”
