Netflix has scheduled The Adventures of Cliff Booth for an exclusive two-week Imax run starting Nov. 25. The film, directed by David Fincher and written by Quentin Tarantino, stars Brad Pitt reprising his role from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. It replaces the previously planned Thanksgiving slot for Greta Gerwig’s Narnia: The Magician’s Nephew, which has been pushed to 2027.
The sequel follows Pitt as stuntman Cliff Booth in a story set in 1977 Hollywood. Additional cast members include Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Peter Weller, Matt Groove, JB Tadena, Corey Fogelmanis and Karren Karagulian. Plot details remain limited, though the logline describes a very different Hollywood from the events of the 1960s original film.
