Bruce Hornsby announces Indigo Park album with notable guests

Bruce Hornsby has revealed details of his upcoming album Indigo Park, featuring collaborations with Ezra Koenig, Bonnie Raitt, and the late Bob Weir. The record, set for release on April 3, includes contributions from several music luminaries and reflects on the singer-songwriter's past experiences. Hornsby and his band the Noisemakers will embark on a tour to support the album.

Bruce Hornsby, the singer-songwriter known for his work with the Noisemakers, has unveiled the tracklist for his new album, Indigo Park. Scheduled for release on April 3 via Zappo Productions and Thirty Tigers, the 10-track record features guest appearances from Ezra Koenig of Vampire Weekend, Bonnie Raitt, guitarist Blake Mills, bassist Pino Palladino, drummer Chris Dave, and the late Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and lyricist Robert Hunter.

The album draws from formative moments in Hornsby's past, as he seeks to resolve them or glean insights for his present outlook. In a press release, Hornsby reflected, “It’s just an old bastard, looking back. To be honest, I’ve found a way, a path to grow old gracefully, with help from some newborn friends of mine.” Two tracks, “Alabama” and “Might As Well Be Me, Florinda,” were co-written with Robert Hunter.

The tracklist includes:
- Indigo Park
- Memory Palace [ft. Ezra Koenig]
- Entropy Here (Rust in Peace)
- Silhouette Shadows
- Ecstatic [ft. Bonnie Raitt]
- Alabama
- North Dakota Slate Roof
- Sliver of Time
- Might As Well Be Me, Florinda [ft. Bob Weir & Blake Mills]
- Take a Light Strain

As a preview, the title track “Indigo Park” has been released digitally, accompanied by a video. Hornsby and the Noisemakers begin touring in support starting April 9 in Cincinnati at Taft Theatre, with dates extending through July 25 at the Great South Bay Music Festival in Patchogue, New York. Earlier shows include February solo performances in Houston and Lake Jackson, Texas, and a symphony collaboration in Denver. Full itinerary is available at BruceHornsby.com.

This follow-up to Deep Sea Vents highlights Hornsby's ongoing collaborations across genres, blending his piano-driven style with fresh voices.
