Rapper Bushido has turned his marriage troubles with wife Anna-Maria into a new song. The couple is currently living apart but is working on reconciliation through therapy. Anna-Maria Ferchichi responds positively to the track.
Anis Ferchichi, known as Bushido, offers personal insights into his marital crises in his recently released song 'Du liebst mich nicht.' The track is a rewrite of Sabrina Setlur's 1997 original, adapted by Bushido over the summer. In it, he pleads: 'Please let's talk and stop fighting. Tell me, are you really thinking of ending it all? I'm here, take all the time you need. Give us a chance and don't give up on me.'
The couple, together since 2011 and married since 2012, has seven children. Anna-Maria, sister of singer Sarah Connor, brought one child into the marriage. In early September, Bushido left their shared home in Dubai for an apartment. Yet in a December podcast, he stressed they remain a couple. Anna-Maria posted on Instagram that their marriage entered a tough phase, requiring distance for clarity. He visits regularly for breakfast and helps with the children. From January, the family plans to join Bushido's tour across Germany.
They have started couples therapy. Anna-Maria expresses optimism: 'We're on a good path because we love each other and see eye to eye.' The relationship faced turmoil in 2014 when she filed a complaint for domestic violence. Current signals suggest reconciliation, despite separate living.
