Charli XCX released the single Wink Wink along with its music video on June 26. The track serves as the third preview of her upcoming album Music, Fashion, Film.
The Aidan Zamiri-directed video shows Charli XCX in domestic scenes while she sings about personal change. Lyrics include lines about no longer jumping on trampolines without underwear and a promise that she is not a bad girl anymore.
Wink Wink follows the earlier singles Rock Music and SS26. The new album is scheduled for release on July 24 via Atlantic Records and marks Charli XCX's follow-up to Brat.
Charli XCX is set to perform at Lollapalooza on July 31 and will embark on a Music, Fashion, Film tour across the United States and United Kingdom later this fall. The album cover features John Cale, Martin Scorsese, and Marc Jacobs.
