Colorado Rockies right-hander Chase Dollander left his start against the Pittsburgh Pirates after one and a third innings on Thursday because of right arm tightness. The 7-2 loss in Pittsburgh raised fresh concerns about the young pitcher's health.
Dollander allowed three runs in the first inning, including a two-run homer by Ryan O’Hearn. He walked Endy Rodríguez to start the second and then issued another free pass before leaving the game. His fastball velocity dropped noticeably from its usual levels.
