Chloe Fineman will not return to Saturday Night Live for its 52nd season on NBC. The comedian announced her departure after seven seasons with the sketch series.
Fineman joined the show in 2019 as a featured player in Season 45 and rose to repertory status in Season 47. She became known for impressions of celebrities including Drew Barrymore, Britney Spears, and Timothée Chalamet.
In an Instagram post, she wrote: "After seven wonderful seasons at 'SNL,' I have decided it's time for my next chapter." She added that the experience was the greatest privilege of her life and that she remains in debt to creator Lorne Michaels.
Fineman is in talks to join the cast of the Netflix drama "Myron Bolitar," alongside Colin Woodell, KJ Apa, and Diane Guerrero. The series is inspired by Harlan Coben's book series and created by David E. Kelley.
No other casting changes for Season 52 have been announced.
