Clipse performs emotional Coachella 2026 set with Travis Barker

Clipse delivered an hour-long set at the Outdoor Theatre during the first weekend of Coachella 2026 on Sunday, April 12. The duo of Pusha T and Malice opened with four songs backed by Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. The performance included a poignant tribute to Malice's late parents during 'The Birds Don't Sing'.

Pusha T and Malice, known as Clipse, took the Outdoor Theatre stage at Coachella 2026 for a triumphant performance. Travis Barker joined them on drums for the opening tracks: 'Chains & Whips', 'P.O.V.', 'Popular Demand (Popeyes)' and 'Inglorious Bastards'. The set continued with classics like 'Grindin'', 'Mr. Me Too' and 'Keys Open Doors' before shifting to newer material from their 2025 album 'Let God Sort Em Out'—their first full-length since 2009 and the first new music in 16 years. That album earned them Best Rap Performance for the Kendrick Lamar-featuring 'Chains & Whips' in February, as reported by Pitchfork. Clipse followed with 'M.T.B.T.T.F.', 'Momma I'm So Sorry', 'F.I.C.O.', 'So Be It', 'Ace Trumpets', 'The Birds Don't Sing' and 'So Far Ahead' to close. The mood turned emotional during 'The Birds Don't Sing', a track written about the deaths of Malice's parents. Photos of his parents were projected on screens behind the stage, with the duo standing silently as the song ended, according to footage shared by Variety and Okayplayer. Clipse reformed officially in 2023 after a hiatus since 2010, following brief reunions in 2019 and 2022. They have more festivals lined up, including Lollapalooza, Oya and Bonnaroo.
