Deepika Padukone hosts fan meet for upcoming 40th birthday in Mumbai

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone organized a special fan meet in Mumbai to mark her upcoming 40th birthday. She covered flights for over 50 fans, gifted them hampers, and engaged in heartfelt interactions. Photos and videos from the event have gone viral on social media.

Deepika Padukone turned 40 on Monday. She is currently holidaying in New York with her family, where she celebrated the New Year and continues festivities for her birthday. However, a few days earlier, she organized a special fan meet with fans in Mumbai.

At the event, fans sang 'Aankhon Mein Teri' from Om Shanti Om as Deepika cut a giant birthday cake. The maroon-themed decor was praised, resembling a film set with snacks served on a rose-adorned table. Deepika wore a plum-coloured woollen cord set.

When the host asked about husband Ranveer Singh's film Dhurandhar's success, she smiled, flexed her muscles, flipped her hair, and said, 'It's all in the family guys.'

A fan shared on Reddit that Deepika paid for round-trip flight tickets for over 50 fans from across India and gifted each a 5 kg hamper worth around Rs 15,000. For one fan dreaming of Paris, Deepika agreed to help, with her team exchanging numbers. She also consented to dressing another fan in one of her creations.

When a fan opened up about mental health struggles, Deepika hugged him, got emotional, and whispered off-mic that she was there if he needed anything.

Deepika updated on the Hindi remake of The Intern, noting such films aren't faring well at the box office currently, so makers are waiting for the right time. She served a top-tier lunch featuring Mexican, Chinese, and Italian cuisines. She spoke of leaving toxic people behind, choosing peace, and motherhood's challenges. As a hands-on mother to daughter Dua, she plans a full comeback from 2026.
