Chinese AI company DeepSeek announced it will at least double every department through new recruitment as it works toward artificial general intelligence.
The announcement was made on Thursday. It listed openings in 33 positions across seven categories such as full-stack development, AI core system R&D, deep learning research, and model data strategy.
The company stated its philosophy is to let newcomers take on the most core and important tasks directly. It said new staff can quickly become top talent and a driving force in AGI development.
DeepSeek added that humanity stands on the eve of AGI. It invited applicants who have something that shines, noting it never sought geniuses. Highlighted roles include server-side development engineer, pre-training data engineer, supercomputing cluster R&D engineer, and specialised-domain data product managers in medicine, law, and non-English languages.
