Dehradun NEET aspirant dies by suicide, note found for parents

A 23-year-old woman in Dehradun allegedly died by suicide after repeated NEET attempts. Police recovered a note addressed to her parents and are awaiting the post-mortem report.

The incident occurred in Patel Nagar, Chandramani Colony. Uttarakhand Police, including Officer Ankit Kandari, recovered the note which read 'Mummy-Papa, I love you'. Investigators are examining evidence related to her struggles with the NEET exam.

The post-mortem report is still awaited as per the published details from June 17, 2026. The woman was identified as a medical aspirant facing repeated attempts at the exam.
