Dylan Holloway returns to Blues lineup against former team

Dylan Holloway is set to make his return to the St. Louis Blues lineup on Sunday night against the Edmonton Oilers, his former team. The forward missed 15 games due to an ankle injury sustained in practice on December 15. Head coach Jim Montgomery confirmed Holloway's participation ahead of the 7 p.m. matchup at Rogers Place.

Projected Lineup: Blues at Oilers

Dylan Holloway will rejoin the St. Louis Blues for their game against the Edmonton Oilers on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 7 p.m. CT. The broadcast airs on FanDuel Sports Network and 101 ESPN. Holloway, who was placed on injured reserve after suffering an ankle injury during practice on December 15, has been sidelined for 15 games.

Head coach Jim Montgomery confirmed Holloway's return during pregame media availability. "This year, as a team, it hasn't been the start that we wanted but there's a lot of good things we can learn from and I think we're still in it," Holloway said. "Just going to try to keep building. I think we have eight games left before the break, so those eight games will be huge and then a big push after the break."

Montgomery also announced that Jordan Binnington will start in goal for the Blues. The team held an optional morning skate at Rogers Place, with lines and defensive pairings to be finalized during warmups.

The Blues face the Oilers in Edmonton, where Holloway previously played before joining St. Louis. This matchup comes as the Blues aim to build momentum with eight games remaining before the All-Star break.
