Ethiopia prepares 667 centers for grade 12 national exam

Ethiopia's Education Assessment and Exams Service is preparing to hold this year's grade 12 university entrance exam at 667 centers across the country.

The service's director general, Dr. Eshetu Kebede, stated that the exam will take place at 97 universities and 570 regional centers.

The test is scheduled from Sene 24 to Hamle 17, 2018 in the Ethiopian calendar for 306,964 students in natural sciences and 257,255 in social sciences.

Preparations focus on online delivery, with computers being readied at centers despite varying regional capacities. Trial exams for students began last Friday to help them practice the system.
