On Saturday in Laax, Switzerland, Evan McEachran earned a bronze medal in the men's slopestyle skiing competition at the FIS World Cup. Scoring 82.7 points, the Oakville, Ontario native edged out Sebastian Schjerve of Norway, who finished fourth with 82.26 points, by a narrow margin of 0.44 points.

Birk Ruud of Norway took gold with 85.08 points, while Matej Svancer of Austria claimed silver at 84.08 points.
