Final round of Father Amir's Equestrian Prix begins at Al Shaqab

The fourth and final round of the HH The Father Amir Prix 2026 kicks off Thursday at the Longines Arena in Al Shaqab, Doha. This three-day event features top international riders competing across multiple arenas with a prize purse exceeding EUR 1.2 million. Doha, Qatar: The HH The Father Amir Prix 2026 reaches its climax with the fourth and final round starting Thursday at the Longines Arena in Al Shaqab. This prestigious show jumping series, part of the Doha Equestrian Tour 2026, spans ten rounds and boasts a total prize pool exceeding EUR 10 million. The final leg offers over EUR 1.2 million in prizes, contributing to the four-round series total of more than EUR 3.3 million.

Competitions will unfold across three arenas: the Longines Indoor Arena, the Longines Main Outdoor Arena, and the Outdoor Auxiliary Arena. Eight classes in one-star, three-star, four-star, and five-star categories promise non-stop action from morning to evening over three days.

In the four and five-star categories, British rider Scott Brash leads with 144 points, followed by American Eve Jobs at 95 points and fellow Briton Harry Charles at 84 points. The one-star category sees Qatari rider Saad Ahmed Al Saad ahead with 49 points, with compatriot Hussein Saeed Haidan close behind at 43 points. The finale will crown champions in these categories, including the Star category with EUR 100,000 and a combined EUR 500,000 for four and five stars.

Thursday's schedule begins at the Longines Outdoor Arena with three-star classes at 135 cm and 140 cm, escalating to five-star jumps at 140 cm (4:30 p.m.) and 150 cm (7:30 p.m.). The Indoor Arena hosts a Star Class at 120 cm (3 p.m.) and a local 60 cm class for young riders. The auxiliary arena features three-star and Star classes in the afternoon.

Friday brings ten classes, including a highlight six-obstacle five-star event. Saturday features Grand Prix events: three-star at 150 cm and five-star at 160 cm outdoors, and one-star at 130 cm indoors, plus children's competitions.

"The fourth round represents the final leg of the four-round series, noting that preparations are complete for hosting three days of intense competition," said Mohammed Jaber Al Khayarin, Deputy Director of the Tournament.

Abdullah Al Qashouti, Marketing and Communications Director, emphasized the decisive nature of the round: "The final results will be determined and the championship title decided." He highlighted the six-show on Friday and invited the public to attend.

A press conference on Saturday will review results and statistics.
