Finn Wolfhard announces sophomore album 'Fire From The Hip'

Finn Wolfhard, star of Stranger Things, has announced his second solo album, Fire From The Hip, set for release on July 10. The actor-musician released the lead single, I’ll Let You Finish, on April 29. The record pushes his indie-rock sound into more dynamic territory.

Stranger Things actor Finn Wolfhard unveiled details of his sophomore solo album, Fire From The Hip, following his 2025 debut Happy Birthday. That earlier release was supported by a US tour and a sold-out performance at London’s Electric Brixton. The new album, recorded in February, explores themes of reflection, cultural memory, and humour, drawing inspiration from The Rolling Stones’ Exile On Main Street and Beggars Banquet. Wolfhard described the process: “I grew up in such an incredible time for pop culture, of course my music is influenced by these events I lived through. I’ll never forget recording this album.” He added, “It was such a special experience being surrounded by some of my closest friends, whose support meant a lot to me. They brought so many incredible ideas to the table and their creativity helped shape the record into what it is.”
