France wins Junior Eurovision 2025 for the fourth time

Eleven-year-old Lou Deleuze triumphed at the Junior Eurovision 2025 with her French song 'Ce monde'. The event took place in Tbilisi, Georgia, where France scored 248 points, securing its fourth win in this contest for young artists. Commentator Stéphane Bern called the achievement historic.

The 23rd edition of the Junior Eurovision took place on December 13, 2025, in Tbilisi, Georgia, featuring 18 countries with performers aged 9 to 14. France, represented by Lou Deleuze, performed in the 17th position, dressed in a red outfit and wearing a matching beret. Her song 'Ce monde' captivated juries and viewers, earning 152 points from professionals and 97 from the public, totaling 248 points.

Lou, from a family immersed in music, had previously competed in season 19 of 'La France a un incroyable talent' the year before. An aspiring actress, she appeared in an episode of the series 'Léo Matteï, Brigade des mineurs' on TF1, as well as in the films 'Le Parfum vert' by Nicolas Pariser and 'Le Rendez-vous de l’été', released in June.

Commentary was provided by Stéphane Bern and Zoé Clauzure, the 2023 winner with 'Coeur'. Bern exclaimed on France 4: 'It’s historic.' Unlike the senior Eurovision, European viewers can vote for their own country, with public votes accounting for 50% of the final score, supplemented by international juries.

Croatia, San Marino, the Netherlands, North Macedonia, Cyprus, and Albania awarded Lou the maximum 12 points. Moments after her win, the young artist said: 'I did my best, I gave everything.'

This fourth victory ties France with Georgia for the most titles. Previous French successes include 2020 with Valentina and 'J’imagine', 2022 with Lissandro and 'Oh Maman!', and 2023 with Zoé Clauzure.
