The Swedish biathlon couple Hanna Öberg and Martin Ponsiluoma have announced they are expecting their first child.
Hanna Öberg and Martin Ponsiluoma published the news on Instagram on 21 July 2026. They wrote that the upcoming season will bring new challenges and shared four pictures of them feeling the pregnant belly.
Congratulations poured in, including from Italian biathlete Dorothea Wierer who commented with a smiling heart emoji.
The 30-year-old Öberg has not provided any information on the expected due date. The Biathlon World Championships will be held in Estonia between 9 and 21 February 2027.
