Indonesia confirms three citizens safe after Venezuela quakes

Indonesia's Foreign Ministry confirmed that three citizens in Venezuela are safe following twin earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5.

Foreign Ministry spokesperson Yvonne Elizabeth Mewengkang made the statement in Jakarta on Thursday (25/6). She advised Indonesians in Venezuela to follow local authorities and contact the embassy in Caracas if assistance is needed.

Basarnas said it is ready to send a team if instructed by the central government. Operations Deputy Edy Prakoso confirmed no official request had been received from Venezuela as of Thursday.
