Jay-Z has announced two consecutive shows at Yankee Stadium in New York City, performing his debut album Reasonable Doubt on July 10 and The Blueprint on July 11. The concerts celebrate the 30th and 25th anniversaries of the albums, respectively. The announcement follows his reveal of a Reasonable Doubt-themed set at the 2026 Roots Picnic.
Roc Nation announced the Yankee Stadium shows one day after Jay-Z revealed a Reasonable Doubt-themed headlining performance at the 2026 Roots Picnic in Philadelphia on May 30. An Instagram post promoting the stadium concerts states simply “Stay Tuned,” with no details on ticket sales or special guests provided yet. Last month, Jay-Z made his 1996 single “Dead Presidents” available on streaming platforms for the first time, marking the start of Reasonable Doubt's 30th anniversary celebration. A flyer for the Roots Picnic featured the umlaut spelling of Jay-Z's name from the album's original 1996 release. Yankee Stadium shows will feature full performances of each album: July 10 for Reasonable Doubt (1996) and July 11 for The Blueprint (2001). Jay-Z has maintained a low profile on live music recently. His last solo tour was in 2017, followed by the OTR II tour with Beyoncé in 2018. Since then, appearances include the Super Bowl LIX halftime show (Emmy-nominated), a cameo at a 2025 Cowboy Carter tour stop in Paris, Tom Brady’s 2024 Hall of Fame induction, the 2023 Grammys, and Pharrell Williams’s 2023 Louis Vuitton rollout. No new solo album has been released since 4:44 in 2017, though The Carters' Everything Is Love came in 2018.
