Jennie took the stage at AsiaWorld-Expo in Hong Kong for the Complex Live music festival on Sunday night, delivering a 10-song solo set centered on tracks from her debut solo album, Ruby. Among the highlights was the live premiere of her remix of Tame Impala's 'Dracula', a track from the group's fifth full-length album, Deadbeat, released in October. Jennie and Tame Impala, fronted by Kevin Parker, collaborated on the remix in February, with Jennie adding her vocals to the original from Deadbeat, the follow-up to 2020's The Slow Rush. Parker has described the album as 'kind of a future primitive rave act'.Ruby, released last March through her label Odd Atelier and Columbia Records, spans 15 tracks and includes features from Childish Gambino, Doechii, Dominic Fike, Dua Lipa, FKJ, and Kali Uchis.Since Ruby, Blackpink has reunited with the mini-album Deadline in February, including the single 'Jump', and completed the Deadline World Tour, which ended in Hong Kong in July. In August, the group made history as the first K-pop girl group to headline Wembley Stadium, where they covered Spice Girls' 1996 hit 'Wannabe'.
