Kajsa Sjösvärd appointed CEO for ski world championships

The board for the Falun 2027 ski world championships has appointed Kajsa Sjösvärd as CEO. She has led planning as acting CEO since December 2025.

Kajsa Sjösvärd was recruited to the organization more than a year ago as security chief. In December 2025 she became acting CEO and has since been responsible for planning ahead of the world championships.

The board has now decided to give her the permanent role as CEO. The decision comes after she has already led the organization for several months.
