Khan Sir booked in Patna firing case over coaching centre clash

Patna police have registered an FIR against YouTuber and educator Faisal Khan, known as Khan Sir, in connection with a firing incident outside his coaching institute on June 2.

According to police, around 20 people vandalised Khan Global Studies in the Musallahpur Hat area of Patna on the night of June 2 and attacked a security guard. Khan Sir’s two bodyguards then fired shots in the air allegedly on his instructions. The arrested guards Pradeep Kumar and Talebar Singh told police that Khan Sir shouted See what you are doing fire at the crowd whatever happens I will handle. Each guard carried a .315 bore rifle with three live rounds. On June 5 an FIR was registered at Kadamkuan police station against Khan Sir and the two guards on charges of creating public fear and misusing weapons. The state education minister said a policy to curb coaching institute rivalry would be formulated within three months.
