Lamb of God has revealed details of their new album, Into Oblivion, set for release on March 13, 2026, marking their first full-length effort in four years. The band shared the ferocious title track alongside a stark music video, emphasizing themes of societal decay. Frontman Randy Blythe described the record as a reflection on America's eroding social contract.

Lamb of God, the Richmond, Virginia-based metal band, announced their upcoming album Into Oblivion on January 15, 2026, via Epic Records. This 10-track release, their first since 2022, arrives amid a creative resurgence unburdened by industry trends. Guitarist Mark Morton explained the album's ethos: "For me, the album is about having the space to breathe creatively and not feeling like we have to keep up with any trend or expectation. It feels nice to be untethered from any agenda beyond rallying around the notion of, ‘Let’s just make music that we think is cool,’ which is really where it all started."

The title track, "Into Oblivion," premiered with a dimly lit music video directed by Tom Flynn and Mike Watts, featuring punishing riffs and lyrics confronting conspiracy and tyranny. Vocalist Randy Blythe, who named the album after his disillusionment with the United States' trajectory, stated: "That’s where we’re heading. In general, the album is about the ongoing and rapid breakdown of the social contract, particularly here in America. Things are acceptable now that would’ve horrified people just 20 years ago."

Produced and mixed by longtime collaborator Josh Wilbur—who has worked on the band's last five records—Into Oblivion was recorded in significant locations. Drums were tracked in Richmond, guitars and bass at Morton's home studio, and vocals at Redondo Beach, California's Total Access Studio, known for punk classics by Black Flag, Hüsker Dü, and Descendents.

Preceding the announcement, the band released singles "Sepsis," a nod to the 1990s Richmond scene, and "Parasocial Christ," a high-energy assault. The tracklist includes: 1. “Into Oblivion,” 2. “Parasocial Christ,” 3. “Sepsis,” 4. “The Killing Floor,” 5. “El Vacío,” 6. “St. Catherine’s Wheel,” 7. “Blunt Force Blues,” 8. “Bully,” 9. “A Thousand Years,” 10. “Devise/Destroy.”

To promote the album, Lamb of God launches a North American tour on March 17 at The Theater MGM National Harbor in National Harbor, Maryland, with support from Kublai Khan TX, Fit for an Autopsy, and Sanguisugabogg. The trek spans cities like Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, and Los Angeles, concluding in Boston on April 26, with festival appearances at Sonic Temple and Welcome to Rockville. Pre-orders, including limited-edition vinyl, sold out quickly.
