Latitude Festival has secured its future at Henham Park in Suffolk with a new 20-year lease running until 2046. Festival founder Melvin Benn announced the deal on the closing day of the event's 20th edition. The agreement was made with the Rous family, owners of the estate.
Melvin Benn made the announcement to festival-goers on July 26. "I have signed a new 20-year lease with the Rous family," he said. "Latitude will call Henham Park home until 2046. I could not be prouder to make that commitment, or to announce it in front of our audience on the festival’s 20th anniversary."
Benn emphasized the site's importance, noting that the estate has shaped the festival since its start in 2006 with 4,500 attendees. This year's edition drew around 40,000 people and featured headliners including David Byrne, Teddy Swims and Lewis Capaldi.
Hektor Rous of the estate owners welcomed the extension. He said Latitude has been pivotal in restoring and maintaining Henham Park. The festival is scheduled to return from July 22 to 25, 2027.
