Louisa Milne Home making steady progress in recovery

Scottish five-star event rider Louisa Milne Home continues to recover from a serious head injury sustained in a fall two months ago. She has been transferred to a rehabilitation hospital where her voice and mobility are slowly improving.

Louisa Milne Home was injured on 27 February while warming up at a British Showjumping competition at Bogenraith Equestrian in Aberdeenshire. She was taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and diagnosed in March with a diffuse axonal injury, a serious traumatic brain injury. She spent weeks in a coma before moving from intensive care to a neurological ward.
