Maren Morris has released a new single titled Parachute, created specifically for the CBS drama series Sheriff Country. The track features in an episode where the singer makes her acting debut as a character named Hazel.
The song, produced by longtime collaborator Jimmy Robbins, explores themes of renewal, self-forgiveness, and emotional rebirth. It aired on CBS on May 15 at 8 p.m. alongside Morris’ on-screen appearance as a sponsor to one of the show’s main characters. The series was created by Max Thieriot, who previously worked on Fire Country.
