A motorcyclist was injured in a single-vehicle crash on road 70 northwest of Avesta on Saturday around noon.
The crash occurred in the northbound direction. The rider was taken to hospital after complaining of pain but was awake and able to speak at the scene.
Police assess that no criminal act was involved and have therefore closed the case as a standard traffic accident.
Trafikverket reports that the vehicle struck the median barrier. Traffic was affected during the rescue operation, which has now concluded.
