Several key players are poised to return for the NFL's Thanksgiving Day games, while others remain sidelined due to injuries. Updates from practices on Tuesday highlight developments for the matchups involving the Packers-Lions, Chiefs-Cowboys and Bengals-Ravens.
The NFL's Thanksgiving slate features three intriguing games: Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions, Kansas City Chiefs at Dallas Cowboys, and Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens. With contests set for Thursday, teams released injury reports following Tuesday's practices, revealing a mix of optimism and concern four days after their last outings.
Packers at Lions
For the Packers, quarterback Jordan Love participated fully despite a left shoulder issue. Running back Josh Jacobs was limited with a knee injury, as were wide receivers Jayden Reed (foot/shoulder) and Dontayvion Wicks (calf), along with defensive players like Javon Bullard (ankle) and Quay Walker (neck). Karl Brooks (ankle), Lukas Van Ness (foot) and Savion Williams (foot) did not practice for the second straight day.
The Lions saw safety Kerby Joseph (knee) confirmed out by coach Dan Campbell, with Graham Glasgow (knee), Kalif Raymond and Brock Wright (neck) also missing practice again. Limited participants included offensive linemen Taylor Decker (shoulder) and Penei Sewell (ankle), wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa (hand) and cornerback Terrion Arnold (concussion). Brian Branch upgraded to full practice (toe/ankle), and Campbell expressed optimism for defensive end Marcus Davenport's (shoulder) return.
Chiefs at Cowboys
Kansas City running back Isiah Pacheco, sidelined since October 27 with a knee injury, was a full participant and confirmed to play by coach Andy Reid. Wide receivers Rashee Rice (hamstring) and Xavier Worthy (ankle) also went full, but tight end Noah Gray (concussion) and guard Trey Smith (ankle) did not practice. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (groin) was full.
Dallas had left tackle Tyler Guyton (ankle) as a DNP for both days, spotted in a walking boot. Limited were KaVontae Turpin (shoulder/illness) and Osa Odighizuwa (elbow). Guard Tyler Smith (knee) and defensive tackle Solomon Thomas (calf) were full participants.
Bengals at Ravens
Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow is set to return after toe surgery sidelined him since Week 3, nearly playing last weekend against the Patriots. Wide receiver Tee Higgins is ruled out with a concussion, and defensive end Trey Hendrickson will miss his fifth straight game.
Baltimore's Lamar Jackson (toe) followed his routine by sitting Monday but returning Tuesday. Safety Kyle Hamilton and wide receiver Rashod Bateman both had full practices.
