Obscura announces 2026 US and Japan tour dates

German progressive death metal band Obscura has revealed details for their upcoming Stardust Tour in the US and a Sun Eater Tour in Japan, set for spring 2026. The US leg will feature support from Allegaeon, Cognitive, and Cryptosis, while the Japan shows include Fallujah and DVRK. Tickets for the US dates go on sale December 19, 2025.

Obscura, the German progressive death metal outfit, is extending their 'A Sonication World Tour' (2025–2027) with a series of North American and Asian dates in 2026. The band shared the announcement via Metal Insider, highlighting a mix of new material from their forthcoming album and rare live performances of deep cuts.

In a statement, Obscura expressed excitement: "OBSCURA will return to the United States in March and April 2026 as part of the ongoing ‘A Sonication World Tour’ (2025–2027). We look forward to presenting material from the new album alongside a selection of deep cuts that have never been performed live before. Joining us are Allegaeon and Cognitive from the United States—both leading forces in modern technical and progressive death metal—and Dutch avant-garde thrash unit Cryptosis, completing a powerful and diverse lineup. The ‘Stardust USA 2026’ tour promises an immersive and uncompromising live experience for our North American fans."

The Stardust Tour kicks off on March 13, 2026, at the Whisky-A-Go-Go in Los Angeles, CA, and wraps up on April 3 in Roseville, CA. Key stops include:

Additional festival slots are confirmed: January 10 at Hedon Zwaar in the Netherlands, May 2 at Hammersonic Festival in Indonesia, June 18 at Hellfest in France, August 15 at Frantic Festival in Italy, and August 29 at Brezovska Metalova Noc in the Czech Republic.
